I'm a student in the Computer Science Department at the College of Charleston. I'm currently a junior, and my expected date of graduation is Fall 2004, or possibly Spring 2005. My current curricular plans involve an extra helping of physics (specifically electronics, electricity, and magnetism) in order to have a thorough grounding in the physics of radio.
My current research involves setting up a test wireless network using NoCat to control access to the network. I have been awarded a $250 AYRA grant to assist with this research, and I will be presenting the results of my research at The 2003 Scientific Research Poster Session on April 18, 2003.
